Strategic German-Chilean commodity dialogue

With its production of copper, silver, iron, zinc, molybdenum and lithium, Chile is one of the major players in global mining.
For the first time, Messe Düsseldorf and its representative AHK Chile will organise a strategic dialogue between German technology and know-how providers and representatives of the Chilean metal processing industry and the raw materials sector at the Bright World of Metals 2019. Under the motto Green Copper@ecoMetals, topics such as sustainability, efficiency and productivity increase 4.0 will be discussed with a Chilean expert delegation in order to connect companies from both countries in these future topics.

On the path to success – the ecoMetalsTrails

A very special highlight is the “ecoMetals” campaign: an initiative for more sustainability. Resource efficiency, energy saving, CO2 emission reduction – the “ecoMetals” initiative launched by Messe Düsseldorf promotes responsible action.
It supports exhibiting companies that make a contribution to the environment and present their long-term commitment at the four Bright World of Metals trade fairs.

From lightweight construction to wind energy: products made of steel and cast iron make a significant contribution to climate protection. Environmentally friendly technologies and sustainable processes in the key sectors of the steel industry and foundry are the prerequisites for this.
