To mark the anniversary, Tiziana and Pierluigi Tronci, founders and managing directors of Gefond, invited renowned representatives from the worlds of science and business. The event was held under the motto "Scent of Gefond" and focused on the company's core values: innovation, change, flexibility, passion, integrity and reliability.

The panel discussion included contributions from Marina Brogi, economist and professor at the Sapienza University in Rome, who spoke about general structural change. This was followed by a video presentation by Gian Luca Pellegrini, editor-in-chief of the news portal Quattroruote, on the technological transition to electromobility. Finally, journalist and RAI correspondent Roberto Rasia spoke on the topic of change and continuity.

In her speech, Tiziana Tronci, member of the Board of Directors and Head of the New Product Development Department, emphasized the need for companies in the Italian die casting industry to adapt and change in the face of numerous market changes. "If we think outside the box, we see the current market situation - which is challenging, uncertain and complicated at the same time - as the best conditions for a new approach," said Tronci.

Founded in 1994, Gefond represents leading suppliers in the die casting industry and distributes technologically advanced equipment for light metal foundries working mainly for the automotive industry. In 2016, Tiziana Tronci, daughter of the owner and founder Pierluigi Tronci, actively joined the company after closely accompanying it. With international experience in communication and marketing in other industries, she took on the role of board member and new product development manager. In 2018, the development of the predictive maintenance software Perpetuo began in collaboration with T4SM - Tools for Smart Minds.
